Donia is a visual artist whose work utilizes vivid colors, dreamy, ethereal imagery, and a character-driven approach to create portals into exploring the human condition, futurism, and our connection to the universe. Through her art, she questions concepts of love, time, and existence, often depicting mystical vignetted figures hovering in off-kilter voids and celestial landscapes.

Donia's graphic style of drawing comes from a lifelong fascination with animation and sequential art. She draws inspiration from striking line work and visual storytelling of Art Nouveau posters and Japanese Ukiyo-e pieces, as well as the elegant forms of Mannerism and Rococo. These influences collide with magical girl tropes to create ethereal figures with a bold presence, producing a unique illustrative approach to Contemporary Surrealism movements.
